About Me

My name is John Franklin. My work is driven by a deep curiosity in people and what motivates them. I sometimes compare my work to that of an investigative journalist - digging into a subject through conversations with people to find the nuggets of truth and wisdom.I have been a marketing leader at a start-up (The Feed), an account director at a marketing agency (Room 214), a product and integrating marketer for a fast-growing tech company (Affirm), and done brand/product marketing for several companies working on climate solutions. I’ve worked across multiple industries including home services, green building materials, eCommerce, software, and naturals & organics.In my free time, I’m often with my wife and two young kids. You’ll find me out and about skiing and riding bikes around Boulder. Or in my kitchen, stressing about my sourdough starter.
